Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed berries can use fresh or frozen
  • 3/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup Unpacked Brown Sugar can use dark or light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoon melted butter I use salted

Equipment

  • 8 ramekins OR an 8 x 8 inch square pan

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Place berries in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Remove 3 tablespoons of the flour mixture and gently toss it with the berries
  4. Place berries in pan or ramekins.
  5. Make the topping by adding the melted butter to the remaining flour mixture. Combine well. Crumble small amounts of this topping all over the top of the berries.
  6. Bake until berries just start to bubble, about 35 minutes for the pan or 20-25 minutes for the ramekins. Remove carefully from the oven.
  7. If using a pan, divide into eight servings. Or, place warm ramekins on a plate. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve. Enjoy!
