As I mentioned earlier this week ( here, and here), I’m sharing casual wear for work looks from J Crew Factory. In today’s looks, again I am continuing with my favorite color, pink, but I am mixing it with some stripes, some white jeans, and some light denim in a jean jacket. I think all these outfits would work for casual wear for work looks, and they would also work for weekend wear.

Please scroll to the end of my post as I have curated for you my favorite items from the J Crew Factory early spring collection. Sizes tend to run out quickly, so if you’re interested in an item, you might want to purchase it earlier rather than later.

Pro-tip: I love J Crew Factory for both myself as well as for my children and grandsons. They have terrific classic looks and their prices are very affordable for the quality.

Affordable Casual Wear for Work Looks, Day 3, Outfit #1:

In this first casual work for wear outfit, I took straight leg white jeans and added pretty pink suede loafers. My shirt is a cotton pink striped one, and I rolled up the sleeves for interest. My jewelry is a classic stainless-steel watch, a diamond pave bracelet and diamond stud earrings. Lastly, I buttoned up my hot pink J Crew Factory cardigan and then draped it over my shoulders with the buttons showing on my back.

In this first casual wear for work outfit, I paired the crisp pink and white striped cotton shirt with the pink cotton cardigan (draped over my shoulders). It feels so neat and classy. Wearing white denim is always a good idea, especially for spring. Then by adding the pink loafers, I created a cohesive look by bookmarking. Pro-tip: Bookmarking is where you wear the same color at the top and bottom of your ensemble to tie the pieces together.

Affordable Casual Wear for Work Looks, Day 3, Outfit #2:

In this first casual work for wear outfit, I took straight leg white jeans and added pretty pink suede loafers. I wore the pink cardigan as a sweater, and I layered on a pink gingham scarf. My jewelry is a classic stainless-steel watch, a diamond pave bracelet and diamond stud earrings.

In this second look, above, I wore the same jeans and loafers as in the first look, but I switched out a pink cardigan (all buttoned up) for the pink striped shirt. The cardigan shade of pink is called vintage berry. Then, I added a pink gingham scarf. Pro-Tip: Wearing different shades of color creates nice depth and visual interest.

I wasn’t sure I would like the light pink gingham scarf (similar, here, and here) with the deeper pink (vintage berry) cardigan. I think it works visually. What do you think? Tell me below in the comments. Also, the exact pink gingham scarf was from last year. Here is the same soft, drapey scarf (which is a blend of rayon, linen, and cotton) but in a very pretty blue shade called Aqua Breeze Multi.

Affordable Casual Wear for Work Looks, Day 3, Outfit #3:

In this third casual work for wear outfit, I took straight leg white jeans and added pretty pink suede loafers. I wore the pink cardigan as a sweater, and I layered on a pink gingham scarf. My jewelry is a classic stainless-steel watch, a diamond pave bracelet and diamond stud earrings. In this third and final casual wear for work outfit, I took outfit number two and added a light-wash denim jacket.

In this third and final casual wear for work outfit, I took outfit number two and added a light-wash denim jacket. In spring or in the summer at night, the weather can be cool. Pro-tip: Layering the pieces like this, gives you very different looks by switching out or adding one piece. Pro-tip: This is the basis of a capsule wardrobe; being able to mix and match several pieces to make lots of different outfits.
