In this post, I will show you multiple glittery holiday outfits that will take you from Thanksgiving all the way until New Year’s! See if you could see yourself in these looks. All of us probably have a black pair of leggings, jeans, turtleneck, and camisoles in our closet. With the addition of a long glittery duster coat, you will be able to create very cute holiday outfits.

When I spotted this silver glittery duster in my local Evereve store, I was leery at best. I always love the sparkle of glittery outfits but am easily bothered by the scratchiness of many sequined items of clothing. Imagine my delight when I tried this on and felt like I was putting on the comfiest bathrobe! Truly, there is a chamois soft lining in this cozy duster! I couldn’t believe it. There is also a drawstring at the waist, which allows the wearer to customize the fit. I am wearing a size small.

I was also a little nervous about the item because I am 5’4″. I didn’t want to be overwhelmed by the length. Again, I was so surprised by the swingy, lightweight nature of this duster-style coat. Once I realized how comfortable the piece was, I knew I needed to come up with several ways on how to wear a duster coat before committing to a purchase.

This blog post is what I came up with: Four ways to wear a glittery duster coat. (Below I will link the duster coats from this post. At the moment of this publication, the silver Evereve one is out of stock, but they still have it in rose glitter and black glitter. I also linked another darling silver one).

Silver Duster with Jeans

Here I paired a silver coat duster, with an Evereve Allison Joy Amie hammered satin camisole in the color “latte”. I added black Lysse pointe leggings that wear like IRON! Even after tons of washes and trips through the dryer! My shoes are black suede Stuart Weitzman. For jewelry, I wore a silver pave heart from Mr. G.Q. as well as my usual diamond stud earrings and Ebel watch. This is what I wore to Thanksgiving dinner. I received many compliments and was comfortable all night.

Glittery Casual Holiday Outfits

This second look is much more casual. It would look great for a holiday brunch or lunch with your girlfriends. It’s just a crewneck white tee, distressed jeans and black Aquatalia suede booties. Just a bit of sparkle in this duster outfit.

Third Look (of Glittery Holiday Outfits)

This is another look for duster clothing. It’s an elegant look pairing a black ribbed turtleneck with the same Lysse leggings from outfit number one. Again, I wore black suede Stuart Weitzman shoes, diamond stud earrings and my Ebel watch. Wearing a tonal look of all black, or all winter white, etc., is always an elevated look. It looks classy and elegant.

Fourth Look (of Glittery Holiday Outfits)

This is a playful way to wear this long duster coat. I think it would be a fun look for a tree-trimming party, don’t you agree? I paired dark wash jean jeggings with a J Crew factory vintage Christmas t-shirt. Mine is from several years ago, so I have paired several similar ones.

So lovely reader, have I convinced you to get a glittery duster coat for this year’s holiday festivities? Here’s a video of ways to wear a duster cardigan that I enjoyed. I know that I was reluctant, but after I successfully tried the piece on and came up with these looks, I am certain this item will have a long run in my holiday clothing lineup.

Happy Holiday partying!

XO,

Dr.Julie
