My nephew’s wife just had a darling baby boy and I went to meet him. Because I’ve been in California all winter this was my first chance to meet the new family addition.
Whenever I go to a new mom’s house I love to bring an easy prepared meal, a baby gift and big sibling gift if applicable.
So I prepared a frittata with red pepper, onion, and gruyere cheese. I added a loaf of multigrain bread, a package of baby spinach (with a lemon to squeeze over), and brownies (from a mix).
For the baby gift I brought my favorite one: Baby Gap overalls, a cute onesie to wear under it and coordinating socks. For the big sister I brought several mini bottles of bubble bath from Bath and Bodyworks.
The growing family was wonderful and happy to have fun treats! The baby loved the tulle bow on the package and the navy tissue paper! There’s nothing like the giggle of a little one to brighten your day!
