Just made a quick but delicious breakfast for a friend. The table was summery with watermelon placemats and red gingham napkins (both from Pier One), red rimmed white plates and silverware (both from Crate and Barrel), and red glasses from Homegoods. Flowers in a mason jar (Homegoods) were from my garden.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs with salmon and dill with a side salad of a nectarine and scallion salad.

For this casual morning event I wore a light blue linen button down shirt with blue and white striped cuffed linen draw string shorts (both from Uniqlo). The meal was the perfect start for a summer Monday morning. Great way to kick off the week!
