I don’t know about your dad but all the dads in my life like practical gifts that THEY can really use!!! With that in mind here’s what my dads are getting this Father’s Day:
My husband and I just became grandparents in the past year (x 2!) and can you say “love affair”? Until his first two grand babies were hatched he never got it when his friends told him that being a grandpa was fun. Well he gets it now BIG TIME!!! He’s crazy about his two little guys so his first little “Grandpa plaque” will certainly enjoy a place of honor in his man cave.
And then there’s his not to be denied sweet tooth. He especially likes white chocolate so there’s a box of Fannie May green mint meltaways in his immediate future. Lastly because we now have two homes and he is known for being an efficient traveler, I purchased for him an extra cool Dopp kit in soft brown leather.
As for my son and son-in-laws they’re both great cooks. So for each of them I made a strawberry pot filled with all the common kitchen herbs. There’s parsley, sage, thyme, dill, chives, cilantro, and basil along with a few annual flowers to complete the containers.
In previous years the men in my life enjoyed gift card to Lowe’s, Home Depot, the local car wash or the local pancake house.
