I was headed downtown for two appointments and decided to wear a great dress from Talbot’s last year. I love this dress because of the fit and flare style, the soft self-tie belt and the sweet red piping seen on the inside of the neck band. In addition the dress fabric barely wrinkles and the buttons are covered with the same fabric. I love all that attention to detail from Talbot’s. The dress reminds me of June Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver so I had to accessorize with a pearl necklace (from my mom), pearl drop earrings (a gift), a pearl bracelet (Ann Taylor), and Stuart Weitzman red pearlized sandals. I threw a white cotton cardigan in my car but as the day stayed clear I didn’t need it. There’s something about a black and white gingham shirt dress that shouts summer!
