This weekend my second grandson turned one. What a fun party! His parents hired an authentic Good Humor Man to come to the barbecue and dispense all kinds of cold treats. All the grown-ups we’re struggling with their decisions as there were so many options! So I was recruited to help with the process!

For the day I wore an outfit hot off the racks of Talbots’ great summer sale. I’ve had my eye on this cute pink cotton and modal u-neck top and it matched perfectly with this flowered cotton fit and flare skirt. The skirt is lined in white cotton and there’s a side zipper with side seam pockets as well. Very comfortable and a GREAT price. Originally both items were $170. With the current sale my total was $70! Yay! I love a good sale!

My grandson did a spectacular job of eating his “smash” cake and was happy to give samples to Grandpa Jerry.

And he was happy to show me “how big Baby Jack is…”. (SOOO big!)
