With Labor Day just next week(!), I thought I would show you two cute Fun Labor Day Outfits that you could consider. I know my oldest son and daughter-in-law are having a small family gathering so one of these looks are on my agenda.
Fun Labor Day Outfits
The first choice is a really cute red, white, and blue kimono that I’m wearing over an old Cabi navy tank, a pair of white Chico’s cropped pant with fun tassels and very comfy J.Jill flat nude patent leather sandals. The kimono was actually a find at my local chi chi garden center (Pasquesi’s in Lake Bluff), but I found a great option for you here.
These kimonos are very inexpensive and look terrific over a tank or tee to complete an outfit. They’re kind of like a lightweight scarf with arm holes. You just pop it on like a jacket and as in this photo you can even tie it on. They’re so easy to wear and very packable for whenever we can fly somewhere!
If the weather turns cool, I will put on this old navy Cabi swing cardigan. It’s heavier than the kimono but still looks like “an outfit”.
Most of us have white jeans in our closet and by wearing the kimono or cardigan, we’ll look very “put together” for the last patriotic holiday of the year! Consider the addition of a kimono for the “fun” factor. You won’t be disappointed!
