Check out my Cute Christmas holiday outfit! I love plaid as well as buffalo checks. This year the classic red and black check is present everywhere! I saw it in vests for my grandsons at the Gap.
Cute Christmas holiday outfit
I saw it in flannel shirts on my grandson as a cool shirt.
But the cutest use of this check was found in an unexpected spot.
Talbots has this darling silky top. It actually has cut in shoulders and a bow that tied in the back (I missed getting a rear shot😬!). I love this top. I wore it with black velvet trousers (old), and black suede D’orsay suede ankle strap shoes by AGL. I think that for holiday parties the best “go to” look is a fun top or sweater paired with black pants. My favorite pants are typically velvet trousers or skinny pants. Then depending on the weather I usually wear black suede shoes or boots.
Isn’t this a fun 🎄🥂 🎁 holiday look? The day I bought it two of the Talbots salesgirls were wearing it. One wore it paired with a black knit shrug sweater and the other wore it with a jean jacket and black pants. You know it’s cute when the staff have it on!
My evening bag was a silver sparkly one (old), and for jewelry I wore diamond stud earrings (from Mr. G.Q.), a pearl bracelet, and my usual stainless steel Ebel watch (all gifts over the years from my hubby.)
