The other night Mr. G.Q. and I went out to dinner with our good friends Ron and Linda.  I decided to wear this green and white polka dot cardigan as the accent piece to my outfit.  It’s from Talbots this season and is 40% off.

Under the sweater I wore a white sleeveless Cabi top (old) and oatmeal J.Jill Wearever Refined Trousers.  (I reviewed these pants and my new sandals last week on the blog “Savvy Shopping Tips for The Basics”.)

For shoes 👡 I wore my new Ann Taylor “Nicole Wavy Suede Block Heel Sandals” in “spiced chai” color. Very neutral and something you’re going to see a lot of in my upcoming Spring looks…

My cool necklace is a “floating pearl” piece that I think looked terrific with the polka dots.  It’s an old piece that I bought from Sara Campbell.  I keep my necklaces, scarves 🧣, purses 👜, and shoes 👠 FOREVER as long as they’re in good shape.  I really find that accessories are worth the shelf space in my closet because they’re so important to taking a look from good to great!

To coordinate with my necklace I wore a simple pearl bracelet (gift from Mr. G.Q.) and silver ball post earring from Talbots (bought at Xmas 2019).

Well in the next few days I’ll show you a few other fun ways to wear my new polka dot piece.  It’s too much fun to only wear once in a while, don’t you think 🤔?

Here are more ways to wear this polka dot cardigan.
