Yesterday I had a busy day and not enough time between appointments to come home and change so this post shows how to go from lunch to working out in one outfit by changing my accessories.

How to Go From Lunch to Working Out in One Outfit!

This was my planned lunch outfit. I wore a navy v-neck tee from Cabi (old), with coordinating navy Mleggings also from Cabi. I wore suede caged sandals with a block heel from Stuart Weitzman (old), and a very old (but still fun) tan straw bag with rattan handles. My necklace is one I wear a lot, a silver multi layered one with coordinating bracelets, both from Evereve (old). I added a white cotton J.Crew outlet Caryn cardigan for a top layer and for probable air conditioning. Lastly I wore my stainless steel Ebel watch (old, classic) and small pearl dangly earrings (a gift).

These are Mleggings. They’re a combination legging and shortish skirt both out of a cotton knit. As my daughter Becky says, no one over 50 should be running around town with an uncovered fanny! I agree! So this does the trick and is very comfortable. I’ll be featuring a few other companies with similar products in an upcoming blog but my good friend Colleen swears by a product called the spantaloon by fathat.com.

My first stop was physical therapy 🤕 so I wore the same clothing items but I omitted the bracelets, and necklace. I swapped the sandals out for these light Grey gym shoes by ASICS. Lastly I wore my new Vogue sunglasses 😎 that I had made into prescription lenses at Target. I love the oversized look with just a bit of silver detail on the arms.

So after physical therapy, I put on the fun jewelry and sandals. I grabbed my purse and went to a delicious lunch with my good friend Sandy.

Lastly I returned home where my golden retriever, Bubba was eagerly awaiting a long walk. So off came the jewelry, on went the gym shoes and a new hat.

This is a totally packable two-toned (white and cream) hat by Walleroo.

So lovely readers, this was how I went from physical therapy, to lunch and then for a long walk all in the same outfit. What do you wear when you have a hectic day like this one? Please let me know below in the comments section.
