Four Black Cardigan Outfits (All are Smart Casual Summer Outfits):

Here is one of my favorite of my 17 smart summer casual outfits. I am wearing a black tank, a black cardigan, and black shorts. I added a tan straw hat, a black and tan summer bag, and light brown sandals.

I love cardigans! Especially in the spring and summer. They help complete a look without being as structured as a blazer or a jean jacket. Cardigans remind me of Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Classy, chic, and easy-to-wear. See if you agree as you see these looks.

I think that slip dresses are so sharp! Many over-50 women (I’m 67!) aren’t comfortable showing off their arms. (Btw, here’s a great post on correcting crepey arm skin: The Best Lotion for Crepey Skin on Arms and Legs).

Most of these black slip-dress outfits employ arm coverage in the form of a jacket, a shawl, a blazer, or a shirt. See if you can picture yourself in one of these looks.
